The Tri-Pak G-40-SST is a portable, gas-powered ice slinger designed for turning bagged ice into flake ice that behaves functionally similar to snow. The unit consists of a steel feed hopper equipped with an integrated bag-breaker blade to allow unopened ice bags to be loaded directly into the hopper. A fixed ice kickback guard is installed to reduce material blowback during operation.
Power is provided by a 999cc V-Twin gasoline engine with electric start. The engine assembly includes an air cleaner, exhaust system, onboard battery, and a removable red plastic “boat-style” fuel tank. Power transmission from the engine to the slinger assembly is accomplished through a V-belt drive system, fully enclosed with safety guards.
The slinger assembly and drivetrain are mounted on a welded steel mobile frame. The frame is supported by four pneumatic turf-type tires for transport across grass and uneven terrain. A wagon-style steering system allows for easy maneuvering over uneven terrain and a wheel lock secures the unit during operation.
All structural components are of painted steel construction. The G-40-SS is supplied as a complete, self-contained portable unit suitable for field deployment without external power requirements.
